WHAT'S YOUR YOUTH CULTURE? SWEEPSTAKES
We’ve been sharing what Youth Culture means to us - now, we want to hear from YOU!
Youth Culture as a project encompasses a lot of ideas, but at the center of it all is nostalgia and a celebration of youth.
Youth and the culture that surrounds it can hold common ground that spans generations - but at the same time, even people who grew up in exactly the same time period can have drastically different experiences based on a variety of factors, from geographical location to personal identity!
That being said, we want you to express whatever comes to your mind when you think about “youth culture” and your experience in it. You can write, paint, draw, collage, do a combination of all that, or do something not even listed! Truly, there’s no limit on what you can submit, all we ask is that:
-You only submit to the sweepstakes once.
-Whatever you make, try to limit it to what could fit in a 2-page spread for the zine
(11 inch width, 8.5 inch height) - this especially goes for writing,
as other types of pieces can be sized down if needed!
THE WINNER WILL GET:
-A YC Skatewear shirt
-A print copy of Zine 2
-A personalized Mix CD
-Their work printed in Zine 3!!!
(Winner will also receive a free copy of zine 3 when it’s finished and we make prints!)
